Why a 'Red Dolphin'?
Red Dolphin is a symbol of a fight against reflux and its causes and consequences. This often silent killer is responsible for the cancer with the fastest rising incidence in the West. We therefore believe that this should be a Red alert.
The idea was conceived whilst working within the Universities of Bristol and Southampton and the Dolphin is a common theme in both their logos:

Red Dolphin is a voluntary organisation that is not affiliated to the Universities of Southampton or Bristol. The views and data expressed are those of the author alone, although these are very much in line with current medical thinking. The only connection to these institutions is that the author conceived the idea of Red Dolphin whilst working within them.
